SKYWARN^® is a nationwide program of the National Weather Service. SKYWARN^® is sponsored by local NWS offices and consists of over 250,000 trained volunteers from the general public who observe and report hazardous weather.

 

Bergen County is 1 of 5 NJ Counties in the County Warning Area (CWA) of the New York (Upton), NY National Weather Service Forecast Office (NWSFO) which is located on the grounds of the Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, NY (please refer to the NWS New York (Upton) NY SKYWARN^® Program Website for complete information on their SKYWARN^® Program)
