	<title>BergenSkywarn Weekly Drill Net Podcast July 26 2010</title>
	<description>Podcast of the weekly Bergen County NJ SKYWARN Drill and Training Net. Tonights Net focused on the numerous Severe Weather (Tornado Watches and Warnings, Severe Thunderstorm Watches and Warnings and Flooding Advisories were all issued this past week) events that occured in and around Bergen County during the last week. Spotter observed and reported Wall Clouds, some with indications of rotation, Funnel Clouds and road and street closures due to Flooding and Downed Trees and Power Lines. A Tornado in the Bronx was confirmed on Monday, just inland of the Hudson River, from the same storm cell that impacted Bergen County minutes before on Sunday. Reports from post storm on-site surveys and pictures of the damage have been sent to the NWS from all Bergen County Warned Events and some of these are available on the BergenSkywarn Website. Also noted was that the NWS Upton NY annual Open House is this coming Sunday, information is available on the BergenSkywarn Website. Lastly, it was noted that BergenSkywarn now has a presence on Facebook and will be using that as a means for additional outreach to the Spotter community in the area.
